As a result of this lesson, you will:
1. read Chapters 1 and 2 in Morville and Rosenfeld, Chapters 1 and 2 in Steilow, and
Chapters 1, 3 and 4 in Williams & Tollett.
2. introduce a classmate.
3. discuss the syllabus for LSC 548.
4. identify at least one idea for a virtual library project to undertake
in this course.
5. define information architecture and describe what an information architect
does.
7. discuss how information architecture is important for librarians and
information specialists.
8. discuss five basic principles of information architecture.
