As a result of this lesson, you will:

1. visit some sites that post links to "bad" web sites and identify some of the characteristics of poor web site design.

2. visit some sites that provide evaluation tools for evaluating web sites and identify new criteria to look for in evaluating web sites.

3. visit some sites for evaluating web sites for children and identify criteria for evaluating web sites for children.

4. define a Webquest and discuss how one is made.

5. review the "JavaScript Library" and investigate the use of JavaScript in your webpages.

6. explore DreamWeaver and try it for thirty days free.

7. explore NetScape Composer.

8. critically review the Special Libraries Association web site style guidelines and adopt those criteria that appear appropriate for your virtual library.

9. review and apply fair use guidelines and copyright law in designing your virtual library.
