Call for Papers

Scope: The Journal is a quarterly publication devoted to studies regarding the fields of library science, information science, audiovisual, and educational technology. The Journal is indexed and abstracted in Index to Chinese Periodicals, CIJE-ERIC, Information Science Abstract (ISA), Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA), Library Literature (LL), Public Affairs Information Services (PAIS), and World Translation Index.

Instruction to Contributors:

1. The Journal of Educational Media & Library Sciences is sponsored, edited, and published quarterly by the Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan. Any opinions, ideas, recommendations expressed in this Journal do not necessarily reflect opinions and views of the editors.

2. The editors welcome manuscripts devoted to library and information science, audiovisual, and educational technology. Articles should be 10-20 pages in length, including keywords, footnotes, and bibliography and/or tables.

3. All manuscripts must be written in Microsoft Word Office for Windows. Double-space the entire manuscript and print it on 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Each manuscript should be accompanied by an abstract of 100-200 words. Two copies should be submitted – an original and a clear photocopy. Submit the files of the manuscript on a 31/2 inch floppy disk/CD that is clearly marked.

4. Include a cover sheet with the manuscripts' title and with the names, affiliations and addresses of all authors.

5. Footnotes and/or bibliography should be typed double-spaced on a separate page(s) following the text using the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 4th edition, Washington, DC, 1994. 6. Manuscripts (in Chinese), address changes, subscription and purchase of back issues, exchanges should be address to: Professor Shih-hsion Huang, Executive editor, JEMLS, Tamkang University.
