competencies necessary for working in special libraries.
How do I Join?
To join our Student Chapter of the Special Libraries Association, you must be a current GSLIS student and
join the Special Libraries Association at the discounted student rate. See The SLA Website for

Student Group is sponsoring a tour of the URI Music Department Resource
Center and Library.
Gerry Heroux will show us the collection he houses in the Fine Arts Center which encompasses study scores, performance parts with or without accompanying scores, audio recordings, video recordings, computers, MIDI stations and assorted miscellaneous items that serve the Music Department. If you are interested in music librarianship, special libraries, or music in general, this is an excellent opportunity to see a "special" music information resource.
