Information Literacy-Rhode Island: A Collaborative Event

This half-day workshop will address information literacy goals and objectives and will include a panel presentation by school, public, academic and special librarians. Breakout sessions will present best practices across library types, highlighting:

Information literacy and the reference encounter
Navigating the information universe
The Research Process
Evaluating information
Ethics of information technology
Multiculturalism and Information literacy

The program is as follows:
