Giving to GSLIS
Please join me in supporting the future by giving to GSLIS. Alumni support for scholarships, technology, and faculty development helps the School thrive in difficult times.
Gifts have ranged from $5.00 to $5,000 and more. Small gifts matter more than you think. (Our high per-capita rate of alumni giving is one of GSLIS's strengths.)
Some ways to give:
- By giving to the Annual Fund, either by check (URI GSLIS, Rodman Hall, 94 West Alumni Avenue, Kingston, RI 02881) or online (http://www.urifoundation.org/WaystoGive/GiveOnline/tabid/184/Default.aspx -- on the "Choose a Program" pull-down menu, look for "Fund for URI: GSLIS" under "Fund for URI: Colleges").
- By contributing to an existing endowment fund. (Friends of Frank Iacono have made donations in his memory to the general GSLIS Scholarship Fund; part of the annual interest from that fund is now used for the Iacono Scholarship.)
- By establishing a new endowment fund. (Endowments from Director Emeritus W. Michael Havener and alumna Nancy Mattoon Kline support minority students and those with a commitment to diversity.)
- By donating a boat: http://www.urifoundation.org/tabid/185/default.aspx. (Emily Benoit's gift of a sailboat helped fund preparations for our 2010 ALA accreditation process.)
