Under the New England Regional Student Program, the School offers in-state tuition rates to Rhode Island students and regional rates to residents of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. For current tuition rates, see the URI Enrollment Services site.
For GSLIS courses taught in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, students are assessed a flat fee by the Special Programs Office of the URI College of Continuing Education. This fee is in lieu of tuition. See the current GSLIS course schedule for further details.

Most GSLIS courses have their face-to-face meetings at Kingston, RI, in Rodman Hall. Other physical locations for spring and fall courses include the URI Feinstein College of Continuing Education in Providence; Worcester State University in Massachusetts; and the University of New Hampshire at Durham.

To ease access for a geographically dispersed student population, many courses are offered online (with no more than two face-to-face sessions) or as hybrids (with three or more face-to-face sessions).
