Hypergeometric Probability

Suppose that 99 coins are placed on a table before you, 47 showing heads and 52 showing tails.
Blindfolded, you slide 22 of the coins to one side and push the rest away. What is the probability
that 5 out of the 22 selected coins are heads? What about the probability of 10 heads? The
answers are provided by hypergeometric probabilities. H and T can denote any two mutually
exclusive and exhaustive possibilities (success/failure, on/off, etc.). Highlight and change the
number of Type H or Type T to observe the changing probabilities. You can do the same with
the sample size and with the values of k (the number of heads in the selection). Scroll down to see
the probability histogram.
