Project:
A Panchromatic Sample of 3C Sources

Lurking at the center of some galaxies are highly luminous objects that exhibit strong radio frequency emissions. These “bright radio-loud objects” are thought to be the result of matter gathered around a supermassive black hole. Drawing on the Third Cambridge Catalog (3C), a compendium of radio-loud objects, Samantha is creating images of these objects based on their radio emissions. Such images could help scientists to better understand these immense and powerful objects.
