German 497

German 497: Pronunciation and Intonation
Session II (July 12-July 31) 1 credits

Pronunciation and Intonation .
Pronunciation practice is part of all core courses in the German Summer School. The first year program (GER 111-112) has a particularly strong pronunciation component. This course is designed for students at the second-year and higher levels who would benefit from a more detailed explanation of German pronunciation and intonation. Participants learn how the various sounds of German are produced and practice pronunciation of sounds typically difficult for native speakers of English.
