Yes. The Sommerschule is a six-week program, consisting of two three-week sessions (June 21-July 10 and July 12-July 31). While most participants take the entire six weeks, it is also possible to attend either one of the two three-week sessions.

The German Summer School of the Atlantic (Die Deutsche Sommerschule am Atlantik - DSSA) provides intensive German language instruction at all proficiency levels. Designed with students, teachers, and professionals in mind, the German Summer School offers fully accredited courses in German language, culture and literature in a German-only environment with extensive extracurricular programs. We can accommodate special courses for engineering and business students, faculty and professionals through a collaboration with the International Engineering Program at the University of Rhode Island. The German Summer School is located near Rhode Island's beach resorts, Newport, and historic Providence.
