Italian Activities

C.I.A.O. is a URI student organization that works to promote and inform students about Italian language and culture. C.I.A.O. routinely sponsors trips to museums, plays, and concerts off campus as well as events on campus such as Italian movie showcases and Italian inspired coffeehouses. They also hold regular meetings where members get together and discuss current happenings in Italy and play Italian cards. C.I.A.O. provides an excellent way for students to familiarize themselves with Italian culture while learning the language.

For more information or to join the club, email or the faculty advisor for C.I.A.O., Professor Michelangelo La Luna.
