| Abril 17: Actividad de preparación para la composición.
Traer diccionario y su computadora portátil (si tienen una) para
escribir la composición en la clase. Criterio de evaluación. Hacer actividades en el "Activities Manual" en MySpanishLab
(posted on the calendar - Mandatory for HW grade). NOTA: On Friday you will be writing the composition in class. This activity should not take more than 30 minutes of the class time. After that, you will work on the Skit presentations. Please take a look to the instructions before hand and come with ideas to share with your group. Those of you doing the recording project, please submit it through WebCT no later than Monday, April 20. Late projects won't be accepted. Instructions are at the lab. Projects are done in pairs. NOTA: If you have missed assignments from MySpanishLab, you can still submit the ones for chapter 8, 9, and 10. Chapter 7 won't be accepted. Any late assignments submitted after Friday, April 24, won't be accepted. Click on the date on the calendar and submit any activities you have not done. This will improve your grade. I can see many of you missed a lot of the assignments. To check your status for each assignments: sign into MySpanishLab, click on "grades" (you will see your average based on everything that has been assigned-- including the extra credit activities for chapter 7), under "Course Content" (on your left) click on "capítulo 8" (this will give you your average for that particular chapter), then click on "Student Activities Manual, and it should display your grades for each assignments. Make sure you select "Assigned Items" on top where it says "Display". Click on the activity you need to do and submit it from there. |

| Mayo 8:
Examen final, 11:30 am, Swan 207. The final exam is cummulative. All
grammar and culture seen in class is included. Also, you should be able
to identify and write about the main story line of Ambiciones
Siniestras. The last episode was assigned for 4/29. NOTA: Please bring your textbook and Student Activities Manual to the final exam. If you fail to do so, you won't be able to take the exam and no make up will be given. To review for the final exam, please click on the following link and do the following activities:
Capítulo 7: Actividades 1-6 Capítulo 8: Actividades 1-6 Capítulo 9: Actividades 1-6 Capítulo 10: Actividades 1-4 and 6 DO NOT E-MAIL YOUR RESULTS - THIS IS NOT HOMEWORK OR EXTRACREDIT ACTIVITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES WILL HELP YOU PREPARE FOR THE FINAL EXAM. Please note, this is an autograded program. Accent marks are required and, for the activities with a "model", you should follow it exactly, even if it has punctuation at the end, accent marks, etc... If you want to improve your test average, you can do the PRACTICE TESTS as well and submit the results by e-mail to spanishisfun@hotmail.com. I should receive the e-mail by 5/7 at noon. In order to get credit, you should do ALL four tests. Either ALL or NONE. If you don't need the extra points, don't submit anything. You'll get 5% of the average of the four tests. If you fail to submit any of them, it will be taken as "0". For Practice Test 10, don't do section 10-6 (we didn't go over this in class and it is not included in the final) The max. grade you can get for this one is 91, so it will be scaled to that. |
