Responsibilities and Obligations

In order to complete the Army Nurse Corps requirements you must:

-Attend a university with an accredited BSN program
-Complete all ROTC requirements
-Attend NSTP
-Maintain a 2.0 GPA
-Pass the national board examination, NCLEX

 

 

 

After 1 year at your initial assignment, you may have the opportunity to attend a clinical specialty course in one of the following areas:

-Operating Room Nursing
-Critical Care Nursing
-Psychiatric/ Mental Nursing
-Maternal/Child Health Nursing
