BATTALION STAFF RIDES
Every year URI Army ROTC takes a "Field Trip". These aren't your everyday field trips
though. They are highly educational military history battlefield analyses. The battle
is researched prior to departure by the cadets so a better understanding of the battle
can be achieved during the trip. These trips have proven to be extremely educational
and fun at the same time. Some recent trips include Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
and The Lexington/Concord battle of the American Revolution.
