The University of Rhode Island offers two undergraduate degrees in music: a BACHELOR OF ARTS and a BACHELOR OF MUSIC.
Both degree programs prepare students to pursue graduate studies or to enter music and arts professions. The Bachelor of Arts program offers a more in-depth course of studies in the liberal arts, while the Bachelor of Music program provides and more intensive training in music.
