This eight-voice gospel choir in the tradition of the Fairfield Four and the Jubilee Singers will present an evening of song coming out of the centuries old struggle for freedom by Africans in America . 4    Sunday    University Artist Series: "Tamar". URI faculty, students and guest artists will present a stylized concert performance of URI composer Eliane Aberdam's newly composed dramatic work. The subject is the biblical story of Tamar and Amnon, children of King David. The libretto by Maurya Simon is an epic tale of sin and redemption. 7:30 p.m. $8 General Admission; $2 Students.
