ENSEMBLES

From groups that focus on standard repertoires to those with more innovative approaches or highly advanced repertoires, performance opportunities abound on campus, locally, and on tours. Students often have a chance to perform with well-known guest artists. Our ensembles, grouped under five programs, offer wide exposure to many styles, help refine technique, and broaden musicality. Some are open to community members as well as students. All ensembles except the University Chorus, Concert Band, and URI Marching Band require auditions. All are also offered for academic credit.
