Cellist SUSAN ROBISON is an active teacher and performer. She holds a Masters of Music in Performance from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors of Music in Performance, cum laude, from Ball State University. Her major teachers include Susan Moses, Mihai Tetel and Tanya Remenikova.

Ms. Robison currently teaches cello and coaches chamber music at the University of Rhode Island, the Hartt School, and the Hartt School Community Division where she is also co-director of the string chamber music program.

She has performed as soloist with the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra ,  Grace Community Orchestra in Indiana, and  Ball State Symphony summer orchestra and has given recitals and chamber music performances in Minnesota, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and throughout France and Belize.

In 2006 she was on the faculty at the prestigious Indiana University Summer String Academy as the coordinator of the Junior Academy program for cellists, and a teaching assistant for the senior academy. Ms. Robison is the program coordinator for ARIA International Summer Academy, where she is also on the cello faculty.
