General Information

Students must have their own instruments before they can begin lessons. Instruments can be rented or purchased at any of several music stores throughout the state. Students are responsible for the purchase of those books and supplies required by the teacher, and for the repair and maintenance of their instruments.

No lessons maybe given using the university facilities except those authorized by the Music Department Chair or the Coordinator of the Preparatory Program. Proper registration in the program assures everyone concerned that we will provide the best possible instruction with approved teachers.

In order to create the most supportive environment for our teachers. parents are asked not to attend lessons unless invited by the teacher.
