Summer String Week 2009

The URI Preparatory Music Program will hold its seventh annual
Summer String Week, for intermediate level students who play violin, viola, cello and bass and will be entering grades 3 through 9 in the fall.

Emily Chen will direct this year's camp.

Each day will include large ensemble rehearsals, chamber music, and sessions in music theory and string techniques.

There will be presentations by
guest artists and
the week will culminate with a performance for family and friends on
Friday July 17th at 10 am.
