It is now time to take your work from Data Analysis 1 and turn it into some graphs. More specifically, you are to generate the graphs for the following questions. Be sure to put the graph on its own sheet and get rid of the headings, footings, and other 'stuff' that would not be part of a professional portfolio of your material. Stated somewhat differently, I am looking for some spiffy, ready for prime time graphs. To make your life a bit easier the data set is available for you to download [Finance data set]. For some tips on downloading the data sets you might want to review the download guide.
1. What has happened to the share of state appropriations going to RIU?
2. What has happened to the share of state higher education appropriations going to RIU?
3. What has happened to 'real' state appropriations?
4. What would state appropriations to RIU be if their share of the state budget for the entire period had remained at its 1990 level? How much has RIU lost since 1990 in each one of the years as a result of the movement of funds away from RIU?
