9/7/11 After Break	Attendance check # 2. Pages 11-14 of text. (Note: pp. 1-10 are to be read until class # 3. The midterm as well as the final will contain an extra-credit question on that material [this is a change from what was originally announced].)
9/14/11 Before Break	Quiz # 1 took place. Class average: 93%!!!!.
9/14/11 After Break	Attendance check # 3 was conducted. Next time, you will be responsible for pp. 15-20 of the text.
9/21/11 Before Break	Quiz # 2 took place. Class average: 70%. For the text pages you are responsible at the next quiz, see the beginning of the study questions for class # 3.
9/21/11 After Break	Your absent-minded instructor forgot to circulate the attendance sheet!!!
9/28/11 Before Break	Quiz # 3 took place. Class average: 78%.
9/28/11 After Break	Attendance check # 4 was conducted.
10/5/11 Before Break	Quiz # 4 took place. Class average: 64%.
10/5/11 After Break	Attendance check # 5 was conducted.
10/19/11 Before Break	Attendance check # 6 was conducted.
10/19/11 After Break	Most of the "after break" portion of the class fell victim to two fire alarms. No attendance check was conducted.
10/26/11 Before Break	Midterm exam. Class average: 80.97%.
10/26/11 After Break	Attendance check # 7 was conducted.
11/2/11 Before Break	Attendance check # 8 was conducted. A quiz was announced for next class. It will cover the 10/26 and the 11/2 class.
11/2/11 After Break	Attendance check # 9 was conducted.
11/9/11 Before Break	Quiz # 5 took place. Class average: 87%.
11/9/11 After Break	Attendance check # 10 was conducted.
11/16/11 Before Break	Quiz # 6 took place. Class average: 61%.
11/16/11 After Break	Attendance check # 11was conducted.
11/23/11 Before Break	Quiz # 7 took place. Class average: 96%
11/23/11 After Break	Attendance check # 12 was conducted.
11/30/11 Before Break	Instead of a quiz, the "Student Evaluations of Teachers" took place. Attendance check # 13 was conducted.
