What is Political Science?

Political Science is the study of governments, political philosophy, international political organizations, civil and international conflict, public policies, political processes, political movements, campaigns and political behavior. Political scientists use both humanistic and scientific methodological approaches to rigorously examine political phenomena.

Are you interested in critical issues such as health, the environment, political campaigns, civil rights, international conflict and civil war? Do you want to explore theories concerning the ideal government and how power and resources are allocated in society? If so, you should consider studying political science.
