Welcome to the Department of  Psychology Undergraduate Program Web site. The Department faculty are dedicated to promoting personal and professional development in the area of Psychology and to preparing our students to enter the psychology profession and to pursue advanced studies at the graduate level.

Department News and Events

Diversity Week
During the fall semester. students, staff, and faculty come together with workshops and other types of presentations to educate and celebrate diversity on our campus.

Undergraduate Award Ceremony
At the end of the spring semester, undergraduate students and their families and friends are invited to participate in a ceremony honoring our most outstanding students.

The Undergraduate Research Colloquium
Our undergraduate research students organize a panel discussion, describing their research projects in their own words. Come join us at this event and learn more about this aspect of our U.R.I. Undergraduate Psychology Program.

Graduate Panel Discussions
Graduate students in psychology are invited to speak informally to our undergraduate students about what it is like to be a graduate student. They will also try to help you improve your chances of getting into the graduate school of your choice.

Psychology Career Workshops
We invite experts to speak to our undergraduate students about careers in psychology, including school psychology and clinical psychology.  These events are free and all students are welcome to attend!

Get involved in research early in your college career.

Internships are also available that can provide real world psychology experiences.

Participation in Psi Chi and The Psychology Club will keep you informed about career training opportunities.
