1. Students will be able to demonstrate basic understanding of human communication processes across the lifespan including their biological, neurological, acoustic, psychological, developmental, linguistic and cultural bases.

2. Students will demonstrate the ability to critically examine information from various sources.

3. Students will be able to identify the nature of a communication problem.

5. Students will demonstrate knowledge of the ASHA Code of Ethics.
6. Students will apply ASHA Code of Ethics to solve ethical dilemmas focused on a variety of situations that may occur in the academic or clinical situation.
