POOL MEMBERSHIP / PASSES TAC Pool Memberships and daily swim passes may be purchased at the Mackal Rec Service Center. URI students that have paid the Recreation Fee are admitted free of charge by presenting a current valid/encoded student ID card. Faculty, staff, and alumni holding a Rec Pass Membership may use the Aquatic Center by presenting their valid Membership card. All other individuals are required to purchase a daily swim pass or a Tootell Aquatic Center (TAC) pool membership. |
POOL MEMBERSHIP PASS FEES
TAC Pool Members and daily swim pool passes entitles the bearer to utilize ONLY the Tootell Aquatic Center and locker rooms. Other facilities within the Mackal-Keaney-Tootell Complex are not included unless the patron has a full Rec Complex membership. Rates are not pro-rated!

TOWEL, LOCK & LOCKER SERVICE
URI students, Full Rec and TAC Members (except daily pool pass holders) are entitled to rent towels, locks and lockers on a daily, semester or yearly basis. Please see attendant at the Rec Service Center in Mackal Lobby. All other patrons are responsible for supplying their own towels and locks.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS
As a benefit of membership, URI Students; Rec Pass and/or TAC Pool members receive discounted rates on many program offerings
such as: group fitness classes; learn to swim lessons; certification classes (first-aid, CPR, AED
instructional classes); locker and towel service and special

CHILD SUPERVISION STATEMENT
During community swim times, children under 12 years of age must be supervised by their parent or guardian who must be accompanied in the water on a one-on-one basis by their parent or guardian. Children using approved floatation devices must be supervised by an adult within one arms distance from the child.
