Birthday Parties

Parties are hosted by the URI Tootell Aquatic Center Staff. Games and activities can be organized in any of our three pools and a separate room is available for party refreshments. All parties share the pool with other programs. Two weeks minimum advance booking is mandatory.

Birthday Party packages are only offered during the academic year (September through Mid-May).

Birthday Package Options

Option A: (Maximum of 10 participants)

1-hour pool during community swim times
1-hour party room
Tootell Aquatic Center provides paper goods, cake, ice cream, drinks, and party favors

Fee: $160.00

When you book a party for Option A, you will receive a decorated cake (chocolate or yellow) with a choice of theme. A selection book with cakes/themes is located at the Rec Service Center in Mackal Field House.

Option B: (Maximum of 18 participants)

1-hour pool during community swim times
1-hour party room
Tootell Aquatic Center provides paper goods, cake, ice cream, drinks, and party favors

Fee: $200.00

Option C: (Maximum of 18 participants)

1-hour pool during community swim times

1-hour party room
You MAY supply your own refreshments, decorations, paper goods, etc.

Fee: $145.00

Available Birthday Party Times:

Friday: 5:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Saturday: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Registration:

You MUST come IN PERSON to the Rec Service Center in the lobby of Mackal Field House to reserve and pay in full for your party date.

Reservations for Option A, B or C parties with full payment must be made at least two weeks prior to the desired date. Changing to reservation dates or type of party must be pre-approved by the Aquatics Office at 874.7035. All major credit cards, checks and/or cash are accepted.

After receipt of payment the Party Coordinator will call within one week to confirm arrangements. If you do not receive a phone call within a week prior to your party date, please call the Aquatics Office at 874.7035.
