As the first part of our ongoing security audit and hardening of the URI web servers, Information & Technology Services is taking protective security measures that may affect certain functionalities of PHP web pages on the URI website, specifically any PHP page that writes to the web server’s file system.
In some cases, scripts may become unstable or stop functioning, so it is important that you monitor critical web applications during this implementation.
The following individuals and departments are available for technical support in scripting and in security should you require their assistance or have questions during this security enhancement.
