Here’s the quick way to create a new post, add text to it, and upload to the site.
Go to the site in your Browser. At the bottom of the left hand column you should see a ‘Log In’ link. Click on it and enter your user name (usually your name from your email account, before the @ sign). Enter the password you chose when you received the invitation to join the blog. (If you didn’t get an invitation let me know, if you forgot your password, let me know.)
The first screen you should see is called the ‘Dashboard’. Near the bottom is a window called ‘Quick Press’. This is where you can enter your text.
Click in the ‘Title’ field to enter a name for your post. Click in the ‘Content Field’ to enter the text for your post. At this point you can copy a block of text from your computer (Word file, email, text file) and paste it into the ‘Content’ field, instead of retyping the text.
Proof read what you’ve entered, click on the Publish button, and you’re done.
