Budget Request

The budget Request is submitted for the upcoming fiscal year each August of the current fiscal year. An example timeline for the FY2012 budget Request is as follows:

• September 2010 - Request submitted to the Office of Higher Education
• September 2010 - Board of Governor's for Higher Education reviews the budget request and submits to the State Budget Office
• February 2011 - Governor's recommendations for the FY12 Budget are sent to the General Assembly
• June 2011 - General Assembly enacts a final FY12 Budget
