Risk Management

The Risk Management Office is an integral part of the University of Rhode Island. By promoting a culture of compliance and shared responsibility, the mission of the RMO is to manage and protect the University community; its human, physical, natural, and financial assets, and to minimize losses and legal liabilities.

Our vision is to strive to improve and raise awareness of risk management. To provide the necessary services to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by identifying, evaluation, and investigating risks of loss. Provide technical expertise, educational programs, support, and consultation to the University community to achieve a culture of risk management.

 

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

On-line training opportunities are available at no charge to faculty, staff, and students in the following areas:
