 * Las Terrazas is a community of farmers in the Sierra  founded by a government program in 1968. The name derives from the terraces laid out for the pine trees that are now a characterisitic feature of the area. The 900 inhabitants make a living by maintaining the woods and from ecotourism, which increased after the building of the environmentally friendly Moka Hotel.
