Pictured at the top of this page is the east façade of the teaching wing of the CBLS. The preeminent elements in this wing are fourteen, state-of-the-art, student teaching laboratories.

Left: Come next spring, this area between the two wings of the CBLS will sport a courtyard, complete with a rain garden which will be irrigated by stormwater.

Middle: Steps that allowed pedestrians to walk across the roof of the Biological Sciences Building are no longer usable, the first step in the demolition of the underground structure.

Right: The fourth floor of the teaching wing will remain pretty much as seen in this view until more funds can be attracted to complete the construction of offices, conference rooms and other facilities. The top floor of the research wing will also remain unfinished until funding is raised.

Left: Wood frames that will hold glass and doors are already in place on faculty offices in the CBLS research wing. Some pieces of furniture are being moved in.
