Tune in to the Plant Pro for
Home Gardening Tips

URI's GreenShare Program Coordinator Marion Gold is the host of NBC 10's Plant Pro seen every Monday on News Channel 10 at Noon and on the Weekend Sunrise show Saturdays at 9:00.

Filmed in URI's Learning Landscape and other garden spots throughout the state, the Plant Pro offers environmentally friendly tips for your home gardening projects. From flowers and vegetables to lawn care and pruning, the Plant Pro provides ideas for every location and season. The program taps the latest university research to help viewers develop low maintenance, beautiful gardens with minimal inputs of pesticides.

We invite viewers to visit the Learning Landscape at URI Kingston Campus or tour the gardens on the web.

Visit the CE Education Center web pages for more environmentally sound gardening tips and to learn about our related programs.
