·        Learn how to design and build a patio for your garden with landscaper Richard Clark of Clark Farms, Wakefield and Dr. Richard Casagrande, URI’s gardening entomologist

·        Purchase a Soilsaver compost bin ($25 versus $79 retail) sponsored by RI Resource Recovery

·        Compost demonstrations ongoing to show you how to use your new bin

·        Bring your garden questions, plant problems, plants to be identified – experts on hand throughout the day to help!

·        Enjoy cooking demos, garden tours, workshops, plant sales and activities for kids and music (see below for details)

·        Presentation of Learning Landscape Endowment from the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association to URI President Robert Carothers and URI CELS Dean Jeffrey Seemann

·        See the progress on the Cheryl Tefft entrance to the Learning Landscape – materials for the new entryway donated by a group of West Kingston businesses included Liberty Cedar, South County Post and Beam and Holly Ridge Nursery
