2003 Field Day Highlights:
- Creating your dream landscape: step by step - a 2
hour workshop on landscape design and installation by Frank Crandall
and his landscape team from Wood River Evergreen, from 10:00 - 12:00.
Includes landscape design, hardscaping, night-lighting, lawn renovation
and much more.
- Garden makeover - watch a garden makeover in action
throughout the day - includes construction of a split rail fence with
a special workshop on split rail fence installation at 12:30
- Win a makeover for your own garden valued at $2,250
and support renovation of the URI greenhouses by buying a GreenShare
raffle ticket - on sale at the Field Day
- Purchase a Soilsaver compost bin ($25 versus $79
retail) sponsored by RI Resource Recovery
- Compost demonstrations ongoing to show you how to
use your new bin
- Bring your garden questions, plant problems, plants
to be identified - experts on hand throughout the day to help!
