Do the Stars really rise?

Well ... no.

The stars themselves do not 'rise'. As the Earth rotates, the day turns from daytime to nightime, and back to daytime again. As the sky gets darker, more stars can be seen. As the Earth continues to rotate, the stars 'appear' to rise in the sky, but they really don't move. They are staying in the same place in the sky. The turning of the Earth only gives the impression that they rise.
