Rock and water garden - sustainble landscaping
This
creative, unique landscape is an alternative to blasting
the rock and hauling in topsoil to create a lawn. Compost is used to fill rock crevices for annual flowers and groundcovers.

The
soilmaker composter: Tip
2 - recyle yard waste
This 12-cubic ft. capacity bin is ideal for composting
kitchen scraps and yard waste. The design differs from traditional
composting bins in that it continuously produces small batches
of compost at the bottom which can be obtained from slide-up
doors from the bottom. The top has a large locking lid that
allows for access to
turn
and
aerate
the
compost.
