Welcome to the Rhode Island Natural History Survey

The Rhode Island Natural History Survey is a consortium of organizations and individuals seeking to advance knowledge and understanding of Rhode Island’s biology, geology, and ecosystems. RINHS is a clearinghouse for ecological information in Rhode Island, providing sound scientific data to scientists, naturalists, educators, land managers, decision makers, and the public. RINHS hosts a variety of programs, including an annual conference, lecture series, and Bioblitz.
