NE Onsite Wastewater Training Center

The NE Onsite Wastewater Training Program began as the Rhode Island Onsite Wastewater Training Center, founded in 1993. The Center itself and the systems installed on the grounds were donated by local vendors and installed by various local contractors affiliated with the Rhode Island Independent Contractors and Associates (RIICA). If you are interested in donating components of a technology or providing upgrades for a technology that is currently installed at the OWTC, please contact David Kalen for more information.

Classes held at the Center include:
INSP 100 - Conventional Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Inspection
OWT 125 - Bottomless Sand Filter Design & Installation
OWT 130 - Hands-On Component Installation
