URI Watershed Watch Water Collection Schedule -

Second Water Collection (Rivers, Streams, and Bays - optional for all others):
Saturday June 7th, 2008

Remember to bring your samples to the URIWW lab in a cooler with ice packs and get your replacement bottles. We are available to accept your samples from 8 am until Noon on Saturday. If you are not able to get your samples there during that time, please call us IN ADVANCE at 401-874-2905 to make other arrangements. Directions to the URIWW Lab in the Coastal Institute.

Saturday April 5, 9 AM, Weaver Auditorium, Coastal Institute in Kingston

Field Training for New Volunteers - (completed for this year!):

Saturday April 12, 9 AM & 1 PM - both for lakes and ponds,
Saturday April 26, 10 AM - Salt Pond Coalition sites,
Saturday April 26, 1 PM rivers and streams,
Tuesday April 28, 5:30 PM - estuarine sites (including bay and Narrow River.)

Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about becoming a water quality monitor (401-874-4552 or 401-874-2905). Each year we train and equip volunteers to monitor on-water lake, river, salt pond and marine as well as streamside sites near you.
