Research Interests:

Dr. Goos' research focuses on the biology of the fungi. He has special interest in the morphology, taxonomy, and biogeography of the Hyphomycetes (helicosporous group) and the "black mildews" (Order Meliolales). He maintains an interest in tropical fungi and the mushrooms of Rhode Island.
