I recently completed my doctorate with Dr. Cheryl Wilga at the University of Rhode Island. My research interests include functional morphology and mechanics of feeding in vertebrates, especially in elasmobranchs.  Currently, my focus is comparing feeding in two types of sharks, a trophic generalist and specialist.
