Our faculty bring a broad range of scholarly interests to the Marine Biology program. Their research is currently supported by grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rhode Island Sea Grant and the National Park Service. They all involve undergraduate and graduate students in their lab, field and shipboard research activities. Our faculty will be growing over the next several years with new faculty hires, including a new position in Marine Genomics.
