Grades: The nine labs and the symposium presentation will each be worth 7% of your grade (for a total of 70%). They will each be graded on a 10-point scale. The paper will be worth 30% and will be graded on a 30-point scale. No late work will be accepted.
Attendance: Any missed lab will be graded a zero. You may NOT get the data from a classmate to complete the assignment and you cannot make up the lab. Labs missed for university-sanctioned reasons will be excluded from your final grade.
Field Trips: Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for all field trips. In fact, overdress in layers so that you can take a layer off if need be. Bring hats, gloves, boots, and extra socks, just in case your feet get wet.
