Who are the Master Composter & Recycler Volunteers?

Since the program's conception in the fall of 2005, 75 Rhode Island Citizens have participated in the Master Composter & Recycler trainings. In the first year and a half we have developed a thriving and active base of volunteers. These volunteers encourage and challenge citizens to engage in waste reducing practices like composting and recycling through educational workshops, direct service, and community projects. As of February 2007, 17 volunteers have earned the title Master Composter & Recycler by completing at least 30 hours of service to the program and many more are on their way.
