The Invasive Plant Management Certification Program trains green industry professionals working in the coastal zone to provide sustainable invasive plant management services to clients, and to facilitate restoration of degraded coastal habitats. Training topics include:

    • The Ecology of Invasive Species
    • Coastal Plant Communities
    • Coastal Landscape Site Assessment
    • Landscape Management Plan Development
    • Control Measure Selection
    • Invasive Plant Removal
    • Revegetation

    • Landscape Maintenance

Professionals having completed the two-day training are recognized as Coastal Invasive Managers by the RI Coastal Resources Management Council.
