All Certified Coastal Invasive Managers in Rhode Island are required to earn recertification credits every 2 years to maintain their certification status.

Credits are earned by attending the Invasive Plant Management Recertification Training scheduled twice yearly by the URI Outreach Center. Certified Coastal Invasive Managers are encouraged to avoid a lapse in their certification by attending a recertification training BEFORE their certification expires. Other Information:
Dress appropriately and wear proper footwear, as half of the training session will be held outside in the field. Participants must bring a bag for plant samples, masking tape, and a Sharpie or pencil.
