Attention gardeners! This September it's time to go back to school - the GreenShare way!
In 2008 we are departing from GreenShare Field Day's traditional festival format to bring you "GreenShare Garden School," a day of workshops and tours designed to help you keep those thumbs green and the environment healthy!
With topics ranging from "green" gardening, to hydrangeas, to composting, we have classes that will be sure to pique everyone's interest. Be sure to bring any pesky weeds along to be ID'ed, soil samples for a free pH test, and those tricky questions for our Master Gardeners and Master Composters!
Location:
URI College of the Environment and Life Sciences Kathleen M. Mallon Outreach Center
3 East Alumni Ave. Kingston, RI 02881
Workshops will make use of the URI Botanical Gardens & nearby classroom spaces
