GreenShare Field Day

The annual GreenShare Field Day (held at the Botanical Garden in September) is a festival-style event which unites the gardening public with landscaping professionals for a day of seminars, plant sales, garden tours, soil tests, a plant clinic and information on new garden products.  It is a family-oriented celebration offering information and entertainment for all ages.  A similar event, the East Farm Spring Festival (May), is held each year at URI’s East Farm, timed to correspond with crabapple bloom in the historic crabapple trial orchard.
